Ludwig Piano Quartet successfuly promotes the literature of the piano quartet both at home and abroad ; significant but unfortunately in many cases unjustly forgotten. Backbone of their repertoire naturally consists of outstanding compositions by Czech composers - Dvorák, Suk and Martinu, close to the quartet are also Mozart and Beethoven and they do not avoid interpreting master pieces by German romantics – Mendelssohn, Brahms or Richard Strauss.
LPQ performs on regular basis - together with double bass guest - little played but unique quintets by J. N. Hummel and J. L. Dussek.
